A highly potent and long-lasting local anti-inflammatory, antiallergic, and antipruritic agent; a drug from the group of synthetic glucocorticosteroids. It's used for the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the anterior segment of the eye and its adnexa: allergic conjunctivitis, scaly blepharitis, episcleritis, recurrent iritis, iridocyclitis (of the posterior segment of the eye); post-operative and post-traumatic eye inflammation; thermal and chemical corneal injuries.
